SHELLY'S NEW BOOK AVAILABLE FEBRUARY 2016

Shelly has taken some time away from music in the past six months to work on completing her book, I Lost My Child to Cancer:  A Mother's Story from Diagnosis to Healing After Loss.  Her book is very close to being published and you can visit her author website http://www.ilostmychildtocancer.com to find out when the book will be available and also purchase online.  If you would like, you can also fill out the contact form on her author website to be notified of when and where her book signings will take place.

In the past, Shelly has performed shows to help raise funds and awareness for the Helping Families Handle Cancer Foundation.  Shelly will again be performing these types of shows later in 2016 along with promoting her book.

From this experience, Shelly would like to do some song writing in 2016 and bring new music to her fans in 2017.

SHELLY HAS WRITTEN A BOOK!

There have been some changes since Shelly's last post.  Music is still a large part of her life but she had to take some time to complete a book that she had been writing about her late daughter, Chantal.  The book is called "I Lost My Child To Cancer - A Mother's Story from Diagnosis to Passing".  Shelly felt compelled to complete her story and is now in the throws of editing and running an Indiegogo Campaign so she can self publish the book.  The book is about their lives at the time of her daughter's diagnosis, her treatments, her passing and how Shelly dealt with her grief.  Shelly felt it was important at this time to complete the book because she feels the need to share it with others who have also gone through this terrible experience.  It is her hope that her words will resonate with others grieving the loss of a child and help them get through their grief process.

Another Fundraising Success

Shelly performed her second fundraising show of the 2014 in support of Helping Families Handle Cancer on Saturday, March 22nd at the Mercury Room in Edmonton.  Thank you to everyone who came out to the show and helped her raise $400 for this much needed charity!!
